- Each member must sign a time trial wavier per season.
- There is a Fee of $2.00 per race.
- Participants will need to sign in with the timekeeper 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.
- The roads being used for the FMCT TT’s are not closed to any motor vehicles, pedestrians or livestock, as a cyclist you must expect to adhere to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and use common sense when to give up the right of way.
- TT’s are a sport for the individual and at no time is a participant allowed to receive any form of assistance during the race. Drafting is not permitted.
- The Timekeeper is in charge of the race and has the ability to refuse a willing participant from entering the race due to unacceptable behavior (not that this has ever happened before but you never know).
Start of the Race
- Timekeeper must have 2 stop watches
- Volunteer will hold the riders bike at the start line to accommodate the rider for departure.
- Notify the rider with a count down starting from 20 seconds down to zero.
- 1 minute intervals.
- Warm ups are not permitted on the race route while races are in progress.
- Riders positioning will be decided based on the rider’s speed, the slower riders will depart first with a 1 minute interval having the fastest rider leaving last. (For the first few TT’s this will be an estimate as we have concluded a few TT’s we will used the results to determine the riders position on the start line.)
Post Race
- Announce the overall winners for the Male & Female divisions and all the riders names and times of each race.
- Occasionally sponsored draw prizes will be given out at certain races.
