Sunday Run - March 22

Mar 20, 2009

Hi Guys n Gals

I was going to say Guys and Dolls like the old movie title, but I thought I had better not as sometimes those old movies are not the most politically correct and I would not want to offend any of the female members of the club so I went with Gals, I trust that is alright.

Speaking of old movies, Natalie and I caught a little bit of West Side Story the other day - you know, "when you're a jet you're a jet" etc.. normally I just would have flicked right past it, especially on the weekends when I was tired from a long run and I would not want to risk hurting myself when the urge to jump and leap about like the actors during one of the 17,000 musical numbers that permeate throughout the movie, anyway when Natalie said she had never seen the movie I managed to pry my finger off the remote long enough for her to see her namesake, Natalie Wood, whom her father named her after and also try and figure out how this movie has managed to become one of the most popular films of all time - we couldn't do it, figure it out that is.. and to think, Mall Cop will probably disappear from the shelves of Blockbuster as fast as it came - there is no accounting for taste..

Speaking of being not too politically correct and possibly offending the female members of the club.. did ya check out the.. ahhh nevermind..
