Hi Everyone

As I sit to write the email regarding this Sunday's run meeting place and time, I find myself troubled.

For some reason unbeknownst to me or my family, but much to her concern, I have taken to watching.. sigh.. American Idol.. bigger sigh.. I know I am leaving myself open for abuse here.. and that is okay, sometimes just putting things in writing for the world to see is the first step in cleansing...

I don't know what it is that makes me put it on.. I don't like the style of music that they are trying to manufacture.. the Kelly Clarksons of the world can and should end up playing arenas way up north some where..I hear Elliot Lake is nice.. I used to just watch the first few episodes when they would search the world over and some real lame acts would show up and the judges would be mean and make fun of them.. to my amusement.. hey.. if you are going to put yourself in a situation where you know that you could end up on TV and further knowing full well that you could be mocked.. then I'll laugh..

maybe it is like watching the hockey game in case a fight breaks out, or Nascar for a crash.... could it be that I want to see some poor kids dreams crushed on national TV.. no.. that is not it .. I am really not that mean.. maybe it is listening to the judge Paula Abdul stumble through her critique of the singers - looking like she just put out the bong before the show started..

It should be about here that you all figure out that none of the above has anything to do with our run this weekend or triathlon in general.. I am actually wondering how long it will be before I get an email from the higher ups asking me to just stick to the facts.. but until such time.. American Idol lives!!

This Sunday - Running Room - Brampton - 30k - give or take - we have been having some great groups out of late and there has been a variety of routes being ran - or is that run.. 8:30 start time - Heritage loop..
