Weekly Email
May 19, 2008
It seems just about every long weekend in May that I can remember was cold and wet and windy and raining and this one was / is no exception.. but like good little triathletes we braved the elements.. we forged ahead with our bikes rides our runs.. and in some cases even an outdoor swim at Kelso.. Shanta my dear girl I hope your ice cream head ache has finally gone away!!
So.. what can I tell ya... the adopt a road is on for May 30th, please send Michelle Jay an email and let her know that you are coming to help so she can make sure she has enough safety vests etc..
There was no Time Trial today but there will be one next week so make plans to come out and give it a go..
Open Water Swimming at Professors Lake will begin in early to mid June, make sure Bill knows you want to attend.. we have already surpassed last years numbers so let us know as soon as you can as we need to make sure we advise the City of Brampton of the numbers for lifeguards etc..
I am watching the return of the mummy on TV.. it is ok..
I know everyone is doing their weekly swims, bikes and runs.. swims at McMurchy and Gellert.. bikes at the library on Creditview and from Maple and Mountainview in Georgetown. (hope I got that right).. run where and when you like..
